Audio Portfolio
106.3 NBZ Fm
Since 2024, I have worked at 106.3 NBZ Fm, a radio station in the north country of NY. There I host a weekly radio show every Saturday from 3pm to 8pm. This is one of my comedy bit airchecks that I created for one of my shows!
Everywhere I Go [Crooked Mozart Remix] (2023)
This was an audio project where we had to create remixes of a song project we did earlier in the semester. We all swapped songs with other groups and spun a wheel to determine the genres we would turn songs into. Me and my group partner got Classical and Altnerative for a rock song (written and performed by Anderson Caroll). For this project I played all of the instruments and mixed the project, and my group partner added some lyrics and recorded some vocals.
Original Song - Anderson Caroll
The Remix - Ben Jones & Leah Brekke
Cartoon Dub 1 - Super Hero Movie Time (2022)
This is a project I did for an audio class where I recieved a completly silent video clip. My task was to recreate all the sound. This meant writing/recording dialog, finding/creating sound effects and music, and mixing it all together.
Cartoon Dub 2 - Cake Bake (2022)
This is exactly the same as the previous clip, but done with another completely silent video clip I got. This was more challenging as there were a lot more sounds going on than in the previous one.
Voyage (2022)
This is the first of (as of now) two electronic instrumentals that I made to describe different places. This one is meant to describe the sea
Snowfall (2022)
This is the second electronic instrumental project, this one representing snow.
Grove (2025)
The third (long overdue) piece of theVoyages saga, meant to convey the peace of walking through the woods.
Melancholy (Demo)
During my spare time, I do a lot of songwriting. While most are just random jams that go nowhere, some of them end up turning into full fledged songs. This is a song I have been working on that has turned into one of my favorites. I did all the instruments live, except for the drums, which were programmed through MIDI. Still figuring out the lyrics.
