About Me

Hey there! My name is Ben Jones. I am currently a freelance content creator in New York. I studied at and graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a double major in TV-Video Production and Audio-Radio Production. I was first fascinated with film ever since I was a little kid who used up all the tapes making silly home videos on my parent’s video camera. I wasn’t able to fully express my creativity until I made a YouTube channel back in 2014. While I started with gaming videos, I have since expanded into a variety of content: Multiple series, sketch comedy, music, and even a couple short films. By making videos on the internet, I was able to become (mostly) self-taught in cinematography, sound design, screenwriting, directing, and editing, becoming very proficient in the media field.

Later on in my college career, I became fluent in the audio production world. I learned how to capture, mix, edit and create audio using a variety of programs (Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Audacity, etc.). In my time in the audio world, I have created original songs, remixed other artists' songs, dubbed/voice acted for visual media, and created several mashups.

Since 2024, I have worked at 106.3 NBZ Fm, a radio station located in the North Country of New York. There I host a weekly radio show every Saturday from 3pm-8pm, as well as manages the stations event calander.

On this website, you will find a handful of the work I have done over the years. This content ranges from short films, comedy sketches, gaming videos, music and remixes, sound dubbing and voice acting! I hope that you will enjoy the work I present here and will reach out if you would like to work with me! Below is my resume (both image and PDF link) as well as my contact info. Enjoy!
